Where to by a Baby Sling Here in Dalllas

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone knows where you can by a sling carrier. I have a regular front carrier, but I am thinking that my little one would prefer a sling type around the house. Also, if you have one, do you like it?

Suggestions for Baby Registery

It has been a long time since we've had a baby in the house, we already have the crib and other "major" items, but I wanted to hear from you mom's if there is anything you would suggest that you "can't live without". I am going to breast feed, use cloth diapers (fuzzybunz maybe), and we will co-sleep for a while. Any advice or suggestions are VERY welcome!! Thanks in advance! Lea

6 Week Old High-Need Baby

My son is 6 weeks old and wants to be held all the time, we have tried a bouncer, a swing and even the stroller but does not like to be in these places; he will cry endlessly until you pick him up. He does not doze off to sleep on his own rather he has to be rocked, nightime and daytime are the same as far as his crying goes. The pediatriacian told us our son had colic bit this crying business is all day not just sometimes!! I want to get a baby sling, it is recommended by Dr. Sears. A baby sling is supposed to calm babies and later on...

Infantino Vs. Ergo Carrier

Hello Moms! I have a friend thats interested in getting a carrier. I told her that I've read and heard great things about the Ergo Carrier. She sent me an email today and I wanted to know your thoughts/advice, since I only own a sling and have no experience with either the Infantino or the Ergo. I had a quick question. I'm looking for baby carriers...and I definitely don't want the sling. My husband mentioned that you were recommended the ERGO carrier? I read some reviews on it, and it sounds great. But my husband is a bit hesistant...

Getting My Newborn to Sleep in Her Crib

My dd is 14 days old and I am having increasing difficulty getting her to sleep in her crib. I was able to get her to sleep in it when we first got home during the daytime but not at night for very long. Now the last few days she's only happy when she is nursimg and being held. I am almost at my wits end because I can barely put her down to do anything before she starts screaming. Is she too young to let her cry it out? Any advice on what to do to get through this?

Problems with Infant in a Car

My grand daughter is 5 months old. She has never been a good rider in the car. I thought she might be car sick, or I thought maybe her car seat was not comfortable, but how can you tell with one so young? This is all new to me because I could put my kids in the car and they would sleep everywhere we went. There were times that I'd put them in the car and drive around if they couldn't sleep. But this baby cries and never sleeps in the car. Any suggestions?

Baby Carriers or Slings?

Any advice on baby carriers for newborns and beyond six months? Feedback on pros/cons on brands like the ERGO, Baby Bjorn, Beco and Infantino backpack carrier would be great. I'd also love to hear feedback on reasons why someone would use a sling (I'm a bit afraid to use it given the recent recall) vs. carrier. Thanks!
