Is She Teething?

Good morning, I think my five month old might be teething. She is showing all the typical signs, except a swollen gum yet. She is more fussy and even pulling on her ear. I have given tylenol. It seems to help. Does anyone have any good tips or ideas for teething process? What should i expect? Thanks- reb

Tongue Tied and Bottom Teeth

My 6mth old had his tonge clipped at 3 months. He was tongue tied from tip of tongue to where his bottom teeth would come in. It was pretty thin, so the ENT just clipped it in the room right then and there. Didn't have any problems before or after. Now I see that his TOP two front teeth are starting to come in. But absolutely no sign of his bottom teeth. Is this normal? Someone told me that there's a chance that he won't get his bottom teeth because of him being 'tongue tied'. HELP!

Choking on Drool

My 14 week old has been drooling for about 2 weeks now, and today he has been drooling more than I ever seen. So much so that he choked and was unable to get a good breath. It really scared me. Has anyone experienced their babies choking on their drool and any recommendations on how to help a scared to death mom.

Ideas for First Lost Tooth!

My oldest daughter lost her first tooth tonight. A very BIG moment for her (& ME)! I really did not expect this for another week or so, but she has been wiggly it nonstop for a week now. Needless-to-say, since I was not prepared, I got her to hold off on putting it under her pillow until tomorrow night. I had to make up a really good story about the tooth fairy in order to delay it for a day. Anyways, I would like some ideas about what "tooth fairies" are leaving for children these days. Also, I have told her that losing her first tooth is...

Space Between Front Teeth

My son is 11 months old and he has a space between his front teeth. He does not have a space between his bottom teeth. His front teeth came in about 3 or 4 months ago and I was hoping as they came in that they would grow closer together! Should I be concerned? Will they move closer together? He already has the two teeth on either side of the front teeth, in fact, those came in before the front teeth did.

Gums in Mouth Keep Bleeding.

I have a dentist appt next month, so I will ask when I go because I don't want to make an appt any sooner. But I thought I would ask you ladies. My gums bleed everytime I brush my teeth and I'm not sure why. On a good day I will brush them 3 times a day, and bad days I still brush twice a day. On good days I floss 2-3 times a day, and on bad days I only floss once. I have good teeth, my dentist tells me that anyways. I just don't understand why my gums are bleeding?! Anyone else have any ideas?

Soothing Gums for Teething Baby

Hi everyone, I am looking for some advice on what to use on my daughter's gums to ease the teething pain. I am using pacifiers and teething rings; but I am looking for options other than Oragel. I had read that sometimes a baby end up ingesting too much of the Oragel and it in turn causes stomach aches for the child. Does anyone have any other suggestions to give my daughter some relief (especially at night)? Thanks!!!

Teether Biting the Nipple~!

So my almost 7 month old son has taken to biting my nipples at random during his feedings. His first two teeth came in simultaneously two and 1/2 weeks ago. Each time he's done so i've let out a good "Yelp!" and then taken him off the breast and tell him no, and why it's not okay. Unfortunately it seems to be happening even more frequently as time has gone on since he first started. I've even caught him grinning afterward. I don't know if this has become the automatic mommy yelping trick that he's getting a kick out of, but i do know i...
