Hello Mamas,
My son is 5 1/2 and I need to find a good ENT. He had tubes put in at 15 months, after 6 months of solid infections and antibiotics that did no good. I like the doctor who did the surgery and she has seen him a few times since, but isn't concerned with his hearing at this time. He isn't getting the ear infections the way he used to, but I need to get a 2nd opinion on his hearing. His current ENT is very conservative, which I appreciate, but he truly isn't hearing as well as he should/could. Please tell me if you've used an ENT that you are very impressed with. BTW, I've tried the garlic drops and he ended up with two "raging" ear infections, according to the pediatrician. (No, the pediatrician didn't know that I'd tried the naturalistic approach.)

Thanks so much!
L.

I don't know who you used previously but we have used Dr. Roberge and really liked her. She is in Bedford right across the street from HEB Methodist. HTH

Dr. Alan Murray is wonderful, speaking as a mom of 3 and as a nurse @ Children's Dallas. My 3 year old son had a T&A this summer by him at the Pediatric Surgery Center next to North Hills Hosp. Dr. Murray has an office in Coppell just NE of Grapevine Mills Mall.

Good Luck!

I'll third the recommendation for Dr. Murray. He is so wonderful! Make sure you have time to wait for your appointment, because sometimes the wait is long. Once you get in, you'll know why...he is very thorough and answers all your questions and is so good with the kids!

I would also recommend Dr. Murry at ENT for Children. He and Dr. Bauer are both associated with Medical City Dallas. Great Hospital! My seven-month old was diagnosed with laryngomalacia shortly after birth. His Pediatrician, who's a Cook Children's doc, referred us to Dr. Murray. Good luck!

We used Dr. Gonzales in Southlake to do tubes for my daughter. He has a great bedside manner. His office is in Southlake, which is a little bit of a drive, but the surgery was done at Harris HEB. He called us the night of the surgery himself to check on her.
