I have had the same OB/GYN through both of my pregnacies. We are not going to have any more children. My OB/GYN was a good "baby" doctor but lately I have had some other issues that HE just doesn't seem to be understanding. Or maybe I'm just not comfortable going into nitty gritty detail about. I need to find a good Female OB/Gyn that will be able to listen to my issues and to help me to feel comfortable. Thank you for your imput. B.
Dr. Alison Shearer-Depp at St. Al's is awesome!! She is very exact and to the point and if there is something you need to know or need to be doing she tells it to you straight. But at the same time she is very nice and caring. I love her!! Good luck!!
I have a great FEMALE :) obgyn through St Al's. Her name is Dr. Lund. I've also heard great things about the other women she practices with...it's an all female practice. Their number is ###-###-####, they have an office in Boise and Meridian.
i know it's a bit of a drive from Kuna, but I'd recommend The OB/GYN Center next to St.Luke's in downtown Boise. Dr. Anstien was absolutely awesome for my pregnancy and beyond. I've never had a more sympathic doctor (she was pregnant the same time I was so it was kinda nice to have a dr who felt exactly what I was going through). She is very gentle with exams (You can hardly tell she's down there!).
I go to the Ft. Boise clinic and love it there. I see whoever is available BUT they are all wonderful there. If it is of a more serious nature I see Dr. Thompson (she) is awesome. She truly listens and cares. I went to her last summer in some serious pain ( she had tied my tubes earlier that year) and was truly scared something was seriously wrong. After seeing me she schedualed my surgery strongly believing it was just my tube causing the problems. As I went under she held my hand and told me if something looks wrong in there I will remove it also. I don't like female GYMS at all but I adore her and will go to her till I can't.

Have you thought of a midwife? I had a midwife deliver my second child and I would never go back to a doctor. I love my midwife. They take time to really listen and understand and go over every option possible (for whatever you can think of). I know that at Boise OB/GYN georgianna ansley (i probably butchered her name...sorry) is still there. In nampa Liz Britian. If you are interested I will numbers for you if you can't find them. I highly recommend Dr. Necole Javernick-Hodges at the Woman's Clinic. They have offices at both St. Lukes in Boise and Meridian. She has been my doctor for 5 years, and has at least 3 kids of her own.
My OB/GYN is Dr. Allison Shearer-Depp and she is wonderful! Her office is located behind Saint Alphonsus. She is a very compassionate person and wonderful doctor. I highly recommend her!
Hello i have two boys and for my second one i used obgyn associates there in meridian by st. Lukes. And i saw all the doctors in there. They are all wonderful.. By doc. Schroder was my doctor and she was great.. I hope you find someone you are comfortable talking to... And feel at ease with them
