I am looking for a great pediatrician in the Rockford Illinois Area. I want to see where other moms are comfortable taking their newborn and infants. I would be sooooooo greatful!
I go to UIC LP Johnson center it's right on Swedish American Hospital's campus. They are very good to me and my son and if u have the medical card they will accept it or at least they did since I started going there.
I have 5 kids ages 15-2. For the last 10 years we have been going to a great pediatrician. He is about 40 years old and is through Swedish American. His name is Dr. Geddes. He is taking a couple weeks off for some personal family things, but he is absolutely wonderful. I have the utmost faith in him. I has 2 other doctors through his office, Dr. Renk who I absolutely love also and he is also around 40, and Dr. Elliot who is older and is also very nice. I don't know if Dr. Geddes is taking anyone new but if he isn't I would also recommend Dr. Renk very highly. I would go to him if for any reason Dr. Geddes wasn't around. Having 5 kids we are at the Dr. on a regular basis and I have never had anything but wonderful things to say about both and my kids all love them!

I would also recommend Dr. Geddes! My two daughters (5 and 2yrs old) love him. I have only had to see Dr. Renk once, but he was very friendly.

I live in the Rockford area too my twins go to a family doctor Dr Jeffery Tillery he is great with kids he is also a ob/gyn so that is nice for me. We had tried another pediatrician but didn't not like her she missed seeing and hearing our son had pneumonia if he had not started acting funny and crying and not eating or drinking he would of died we ended up taking him to the er and they couldn't believe she had missed it we had been in her office only 5 hours before, so she is one doctor I don't recommend her name is Dr Panzica. It depends on your health insurance also I did work at Rockford Clinic and if they are in your insurance they have some wonderful peds Dr's, Dr Beaves is good. We have a wonderful peds doc. Errol Baptist (Dr. Baptist). His office is on Mulford and the # ###-###-####. He has been rated one of the best doctors in IL.
