Please share if you love (or hate) your dryer. I need a large capacity gas dryer and am looking for recommendations. Thank you.

Went to the Sears scratch and dent store and got the most current Kenmore front loader six years ago. LOVE IT! I do huge loads and it drys beautifully. Haven't had any problems with it. I was also able to get a great deal because there is a small dent on the side which no one can see.

I have Samsung high capacity front loaders. I think you could wash and dry a horse in them. :)

I know you can do a king sized comforter without much effort beyond moving it from one to another.

We have the Whirlpool Duet pair (hence the word Duet I guess, lol)
And I don't think the dryer works as well as it should. This has been from the start. Jeans/towels other heavy items seem to take longer than the cycle setting is. Good Luck!

been buying Kenmore dryers for 30+ years now. They are amazing.

Hmmm, let's see...I was given my 1st as a hand-me-down, & I've bought 2. The 2 new ones lasted 15 years or so. I'd say that's great!

I have a new Maytag washer which received excellent reviews....I HATE it. Which means I'd never try one of the dryers....

we have the electrolux HE front loaders and LOVE them. the dryer has the biggest capacity on the market (8 cubic feet). they work really well and we have not regretted getting them.

I second the response about not buying an LG, which is an expensive brand. We went with LG front loaders based on Consumer Reports, and I ALWAYS select the dryest setting and still have to add time when the cycle is done, even for a relatively small load. My MIL has a huge front-loading Kenmore that works better and was probably less than half the cost of our LG. So much for energy efficiency!

Do NOT buy an LG. Not only are they expensive, but if they need work, there are very few techs who are qualified to work on them and IF you need parts, they have to be mailed from Japan or China, something crazy. Our washer was down over 2 weeks because of this. Such a hassle. I hope you find something that will work for you. Good luck!
