Single Mom Starting Fresh Anybody Can Relate Let Me Know

I know how you feel. I'm 28 as well but I have two boys age 2 and 1- so I'm a bit of a rookie. I've recently decided to start looking for some support from other single moms because I let my situation make me feel inferior at times. We all have our stories- and its so good to feel like I'm not the only lonely single mom out there! Please feel free to e-mail just to chat if you need. I've realized that only a single mom can understand the pains and pleasures that go with the job;) As far as dating goes I'll tell you I tried out match.com. It didnt-well hasnt-worked for me only because I dont have the time right now to invest in the work needed to find mr.right. It does take ALOT of time, but I know people who have met through this site and it worked great for them. -Its worth a try. Good luck to you!!

I totally understand in where you are coming from. I am also a recently single divorce Mom with 2 kids. I haven't started dating yet or trying to meet other single divorce Mom's with kids. I would love to start doing this. I live in Union County.

Hi, I've been alone with my daughter (3 yrs) since before she was born. I was 22 then and it was really hard for me to just support and care for her, much less find a date. Now I am 25 and I'm living with a wonderful man who loves my daughter like she was his own and he really helps me a lot with her in every way, which is lucky for her because her father isn't exactly in the picture. Your situation is different i'm sure but my point is, don't put yourself out to pasture just yet, you are still young and having a child doesn't automatically prevent you from finding love again, or happiness on your own.

I've gone through this myself. I left my husband almost three years ago. Fortunately I have an excellent family support system that made it practically enjoyable.
