Anyone Found a GREAT Sunless Tanning Product?

Hi, I've tried 3 different 'gradual' self-tanners and all they seem to do is make me look yellowish. I have light skin and don't necessarily want to look bronze but just have a bit of color (preferably not yellow). I've tried Jergen's natural glow, Oil of Olay (can't remember the name), and the Walgreen's store brand (just b/c it was so cheap!). I've tried for light skin, for light to medium skin, and for medium skin, but the light did nothing, while the light to medium and medium just gave me that nice jaundiced look. Do any of you have product recommendations that you were happy with? I will probably never get around to visiting a spray on tan place, and I've never used a tanning bed in my life and don't plan to start now. Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

I struggled to find a great one, too!!!

I have to 2nd the suggestion for Sephora's Tanning Bed in a Tube ($20). It has a bronzer and gradual tanning agent. Great product -- even has a slight shimmer! They make two products - one for body, one for face. Head to JCPenney and they'll give you a free sample of each! (It sold me!)

If you don't want a shimmer, and prefer a longer-lasting tan, Sephora/JCPenney also sells Faux Tan by Bare Essentials. It comes out green, so you see exactly where it goes! It has a gorgeous bronzer & leaves a tan that last 3-5 days (NO KIDDING!). It is a darker tan than Tanning Bed in a Tube, and I have to be pretty careful when I apply it because I know it's going to last.

Here are links so you can see the products: http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P182409&ca...

Hope this helps!

Hi Lynnette:
I am a Mary Kay consultant...and I have a great product called Mary Kay Subtle Tanning Lotion. You apply it daily as you would your normal body lotion. You will begin to see a subtle developement of color within a few days. Maximum coverage will be reached within a week. You just have to maintain it after that. The normal price is $16.00.But if you would like to try it...I will be happy to give you a 25% discount...making it $12.00. I also offer a 100%satisfaction guarentee. If you try it and you don't like it...for any reason...I will refund your money.
Let me know if you are interested.

I have had great results with the Mary Kay sunless tanning product. Just be careful to use something to buff excess dead skin, otherwise it will appear a little darker there. They do have a nice buffing cream, but you can use other products that are probably a bit less expensive.

You can find a Mary Kay lady by looking on their website if you don't already have one. It's the best I've tried.

Good luck.

I HATE sunless tanners because I am so pale and they turn me orange, but I bought L'Oreal this year and love it. Just the one they sell at HEB or Walmart. No orange and I get so so many complements on my tan.

neutrogena sunless tanning spray - i love it...i get the one that says "two shades darker". it sprays on, so be careful to not let it collect on elbows and knees, but i've used it for a long time and love it.

I have tried every product out there. I am very pale, and for me, Clarins worked the absolute best... natural and not streaky. Good luck!

I have just recently tried a self tanner from Sensaria Natural body care and I love it. It leaves a nice glow on your skin but doesn't turn you orange. I have a friend who tried it who has fair skin and she loved it also. If you would like to try some please contact me at ###-###-#### or email ____@____.com can also check out my website to see more about it at www.mysensaria.com/beckysspa. I would love to hear from you.

The best - Triple Glow by BeautiControl - one for the body and one for the face. Also firms the skin.

If you're willing to the extra $$, Clarins has some great tanning products. I like the self tanning milk for body and the cream/gel for face. Also Shiseido has a great faces only product - I think it's called emulsion for faces.

Hi, I used to use Neutrogena's spray. Don't have time for it now, but it was the BEST! I am light-skinned and the others turned me orange. This one doesn't. They have a couple different shades. Goes on smooth and dries fast. I can't remember the name, but it was in a tall goldish container. Shaped like a mousse can. Hope that helps.

I have used a product by sephora called tanning bed in a bottle and it works good for me. It's about $20, but it doesn't turn yellow and blends well. Hope that helps! Good luck!
