Do You Use Target or Luvs Brand Diapers?

Hi, I recently noticed the huge price difference (12-15 dollars) between Pampers and Target brand or Pampers and Luvs. So I'm wondering are the cheaper brands just as good? Do they hold a lot of pee at night? Do they hold poops inside? I've always used Pampers and have never had a problem with the quality, but the price is getting to me. Are the cheaper brands just as good? Thanks!

Pampers Diaper Exploded!

When I changed my sons diaper this morning after him wearing it for 10 hrs overnight, I found that it had exploded ALL over him. All those gel crystals everywhere--yuk! So I have two questions...is there any harmful effect from the diaper insides for skin or ingested? And we use bum genuis cloth diapers during the day and my son sleeps so long at night they get full and leak by the time he wakes up in the morning so that's why I've been using disposables so I need a solution for that. I don't think I want to use disposables anymore-...

HELP 34 Month Old Refuses Potty Training

HELP. I am getting head spins from reading books, potty charts, candy, stickers, potty surprise bag you name it. Nothing is working and I have backed off of him but my son knows the potty but refuses to pee or poop in it. Last night he pooped in the bath tub. So I asked him Christian where does poop go and he said the potty. I put it in the potty and he starts saying Bye Bye Poop. So then I told him next time you get that feeling don't panic don't fret you can use the potty because you can. He wants the big potty and wants nothing to do...

Parent's Choice Vs. Pampers

Whats the difference, other than price? I've always bought Pampers, I guess just because I felt like buying the most expensive diapers was the equivalent of giving my daughter the best, which in turn made me the best mom. But, I bought Parent's Choice this time, because I felt like being a little more practical about this. I mean, there was one diaper that was missing a "latchy thing" on the side, but for almost $10 cheaper, that's ok. I mean, I wasn't really happy with Pampers anyway. They kept busting open and making huge messes with...

Sleeping Through the Night and Diaper Changes

My 12 week old daughter suddenly went from sleeping from 8/9 pm to 12 am and every 2 hours thereafter religeously to sleeping from 8 pm to 6 am a couple of weeks ago. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the sleep, but I am concerned about the sudden progress as she's now going longer without a diaper change and eating less through the night. Is this normal? Should I wake her up after so many hours of sleep to change and feed her? I've asked my friends, but have not gotten any positive or negative feedback on it. They mostly...
